We conduct regular and systematic investigations of human rights abuses around the world. We actively research, report and advocate for change in various countries. We go to countries where we think attention is needed. We respond to emergencies and challenges. We try to improve the deteriorating human rights problems.
How we work
Our researchers work on a proven and consistent methodology based on information gathering from various sources. Field-based research is at the core of our work. We go to diverse locations and reach people who need us. We regularly conduct field investigations, interview victims and witnesses to place the human story in front. We cooperate with the local civil society activists, journalists, lawyers and government officials. We follow developments that are relevant to our works through media and communication with trusted contacts. We are not only concerned about the victims, but also work to find out who should take responsibility for stopping the rights violations.
How we create awareness
We create awareness about the various social issues that are causing human rights problems. We do this by arranging meetings in the local community, showing films related to the topic, distributing leaflets, and other ways. We share real life stories with the community so that they understand the importance of these issues.
In future, we would like to deal with human rights issues in many other countries. We are constantly taking new members in our team. Our network is becoming wider. We hope to do much better work in future.
